Shingobee has started construction of two new facilities for Prestige Preschool Academy, one in Maple Grove, and one in Minnetonka, MN. Update: Another Prestige Preschool location has been approved, in Eagan, MN. It was recently featured as a “Hot Property” in the StarTribune. Construction is planned to start in October.

Construction of the latest new store for Thrifty White Pharmacy has begun in Annandale, MN. The local newspaper, Annandale Advocate, covered the City approval process, which involved a comp plan amendment, rezoning, and site plan approval, and the start of construction.

Members of the Alexandria business community gathered on Monday, June 20, to celebrate Groundbreaking for Viking Savings Bank’s new location. Members of the City Council, Chamber of Commerce, Bank employees, and representatives of the Architect (HTG Architects) and Shingobee were on hand for the festivities.

Shingobee has begun construction on a new 4,700 square foot facility for Fulda Area Credit Union, to replace their existing building in Windom, MN. A Groundbreaking celebration was held on June 16.

Groundbreaking for the new Minnesota National Bank location in Sauk Centre, MN was held on May 16th. The new building will replace their existing Sauk Centre main office. The building will be two stories (plus a basement) and 21,000 square feet in size.

Shingobee worked with Clockwork Active Media to remodel an old 1920s sheet metal fabricating shop into a modern, creative and collaborative office environment. First, the building shell was improved by the landlard (Volna Real Estate Holdings LLC). Clockwork then engaged Shea Design to develop an interior design and chose Shingobee as general contractor.

Shingobee has been providing construction services since May of 2015 on a new Tribal courts and police facility for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe, in Cass Lake, MN. A great amount of progress on construction has been made in recent months, nearing completion of the building exterior and much of the interior finish work.
