Ecumen Transitional Care Unit and Wellness Center Expansion and Remodel Complete

Construction was recently completed on the addition of a new Short-Stay Rehabilitation and Wellness Center at Ecumen Detroit Lakes. The project is a key component of what is envisioned as an innovative “one-stop aging services hub” that integrates technology, socialization, fitness, nutrition and health care to help keep seniors in rural Becker County healthier.

Shingobee Retail Project Recognized with STARR Award

Shingobee was the general contractor for a Holiday Stationstore project that won a STARR Award at Minnesota Shopping Center Association’s annual Shopping Center Tribute Awards for Retail Real Estate event, held on Tuesday, December 2. The Holiday Stationstore, located near the Minneapolis-St. Paul Airport Terminal #2, was recognized in the New Construction: Retail under 10,000 Square Feet category.

See us at the AIA Minnesota Convention

Shingobee will be in attendance at the AIA Minnesota Convention & Product Exposition next week.  The convention runs from the 11th through the 14th at the Minneapolis Convention Center in Exhibit Hall A. The event will attract over 2,000 attendees, and feature more than 200 exhibiting companies and over 50 seminars!

International School Celebrates Grand Opening of Residence Hall

The International School of Minnesota held a festive Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening Celebration on Thursday, August 14, for its new Residence Hall, constructed by Shingobee Builders. School officials and international trade officials spoke to the importance of the new facility to the school’s ability to attract international students.

Town & Country Credit Union Celebrates Grand Opening

Town & Country Credit Union of Fargo, North Dakota, celebrated the opening of their branch in south Fargo on Tuesday, July 29, 2014, with a Grand Opening Celebration open house. Shingobee Builders provided construction of the new two-story, 25,000 square foot building. Construction was started in August 2013, and completed in July of this year.

Students Tour In-Progress Dickinson Public Works Building

The Dickinson Public Works building is scheduled to be ready for move-in in July. Last week, a group of students took a field trip to the building to learn about what the Dickinson Public Works department does for their city.

Shingobee Awarded Construction of New Blaine Retail Building

Shingobee has been awarded construction of an 8,488 square foot multi-tenant retail building to be constructed in Blaine, MN. Work will begin approximately April 1 with abatement and demolition of existing buildings on the site, including a former gas station.
