The busy summer construction season is upon us, and Shingobee is no exception. We have several new projects that have started recently, or will start soon. Here is a quick update.
In the Twin Cities Area
An expansion of Sunlight Senior Living in St. Paul will add 35 new residence units and make the entire facility more accessible. Construction just got under way, and is scheduled for completion in December.
We will be building a new Circle-K convenience store in Minnetonka for Croix Oil Company of Stillwater, starting later this summer.
Another new Paradise Car Wash & Detail Center will soon be under construction in Woodbury, and a remodel of their Apple Valley store is planned for later this year. We built their new Maple Grove facility this past winter.
A new Mattress Firm store will be built in Monticello, our fourth project in the region for this client.
Others – parking lot improvements at the USPS Data Center in Eagan; a new Noodles & Company in White Bear Lake; and a remodel of Klein Bank in Buffalo.
Around the Region
Construction started in May on a new Tribal Justice Center for the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe in Cass Lake, MN.
We are building several new Thrifty White Pharmacies in Minnesota and Iowa this year. Construction has begun in Virginia, Waseca, and Morris, MN, and Clear Lake, IA. We will start soon on stores in Willmar, MN, and Webster City, IA.
Work has begun on an expansion / remodel of Willmar Christian Reformed Church in Willmar, MN. Their existing sanctuary structure will be removed, and a new sanctuary and classroom addition constructed adjacent to their existing fellowship hall.
Construction of a new 18,000 sq. ft. ALDI Store will soon be under way in Baxter (Brainerd), MN.
We’ve been awarded construction of a new Holiday Stationstore in Grand Forks, ND; work will begin soon.
In the St. Cloud area, we are building a service bay addition and remodel of the KIA dealership; and we’re providing renovation of the North Addition Building for WACOSA in Waite Park, MN.
