The Three Affiliated Tribes’ Tribal Employment Rights Office

Shingobee Builders recently placed the final steel beams on top of a four-story office building under construction in New Town, North Dakota, for the Three Affiliated Tribes of Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara.

The Three Affiliated Tribes’ Tribal Employment Rights Office (TERO) will occupy the top floor of the 50,000 square foot building, with the other floors making space for MHA Energy (Oil and Gas), Public Works/Tax department, and Environmental.

In addition to offices, the building will contain shared spaces such as meeting rooms, a multi-purpose room, cultural center, and miscellaneous building services. Unique design elements will include a two-story atrium incorporating cultural themes, a 100-person meeting room wired with the latest technology, and a roof top patio.

Construction began mid-August 2014 and is planned for completion by the end of 2015.
