Delta Hotel by Marriott Brand Conversion

Shingobee provided pre-construction and phased construction services for this hotel brand conversion from Ramada to Delta by Marriott. Extensive budgeting and construction of sample rooms were provided during the design phase.

The project included replacement of all finishes and fixtures in the hotel’s 246 guest rooms and corridors, new ballroom finishes, a coffee shop expansion in the lobby, fitness center and pool room improvements, a new concierge pantry, and exterior improvements to the porte cochere and signage on the building.

Work was started in February 2018, and the hotel re-opened to guests in June 2018, with work in other areas continuing until September.

Remodel of the lobby and office areas were provided earlier, in 2015-16. Shingobee provided complete interior demolition and remodel of the hotel lobby and renovation of the hotel offices. The work was phased to allow continuing operation of the front desk throughout construction, and to provide for safe access for hotel patrons.
